Our Youth Ministry at Faith BFC includes teens from a multitude of area schools including Conestoga Valley, Day Spring, Hand, Hempfield, Lampeter Strasburg, Lancaster Christian, Lancaster Mennonite, Lititz Christian, McCaskey, New Danville Mennonite, Penn Manor and several home schools. This is a group of young people who are friendly, accepting and ready to take on a challenge.
Many are just beginning the incredible adventure of their faith. The teenage years are perhaps the most critical years in a person's life. It's during this time many tough decisions are made regarding drugs, alcohol, dating, spiritual issues and the future. Our goal is to equip teens to make sound choices in these areas. We are committed to providing a place where teens experience unconditional love and the power of God through relationships and learning and doing things together.
Our Youth Ministry has a staff of dedicated leaders who love spending time with teenagers and desire to show them the love of Christ. We have a variety of programs and activities that the youth really enjoy.
Sunday mornings in the Stables Youth Center
From 9:00AM - 10:15AM, there are classes for both Jr. and Senior High students where friendships are made and lessons are learned from the Bible.
Wednesday evenings in the Stables Youth Center
From 7:00-9:00PM, there are Youth Group activities which involve music, games, spending time together and practical teaching that touches upon the issues with which teens are concerned.
There are frequent get-togethers in the Stables where the teenagers deepen their friendships and have a great time together. Periodically, there are events such as rafting, hiking, biking, etc., where the youth and leaders get away together to enjoy each other's company
